AND WE’RE OFF !!

Tenerife here we come ! The Bob Asher is off for a wee holiday to Los Cristianos from the 21st January until the 6th of February. A wee bit of sunshine and temperatures that don’t start with a ‘minus’ !

There’s such a lot of live music in the pubs there, every night of the week, and I mean every night, and some afternoon stuff as well.

If you’re ever out there check out GGs, Happy Days & Chicagos on the Mirador Strip, The 19th Hole and The Vault just round either corner and The Shamrock down the front. Have seen some top acts in these places before and looking forward to going back for more.

2024 IS OVER

Time to call the year that was 2024 ‘officially over’.

It was as busy a year for me as it’s possible to have gigging in Rothesay, so i’d like to extend a massive thanks to The owners/managers of all the places I played in all through the year, especially Phe & Robert (and not forgetting Carolynne !) at The Galatea, Wendy at The Taverna, The committee and staff of The Anchor Tavern, and in a newish venue for me, Iona at Bute Yard ! Not forgetting, of course, the huge numbers of people who come along and support all the live music events that take place on our wee island. The only way to keep these things going is to go along and support them ! Keep it up folks, everyone involved massively appreciates it !!
